8/1:Oakland Athletics second baseman Jed Lowrie is out of the lineup on Wednesday when the A's take on the Toronto Blue Jays. It seems like it is just a regular rest day for the All-Star. Lowrie has been a pleasant surprise all season long for fantasy owners. He has already surpassed his career high in home runs with 17 and has also chipped in 68 RBI to go along with a .271 average. Franklin Barreto will be getting the start at second base in his absence. Barreto is the 43rd ranked prospect by Baseball America, but it is too early for him to have any value in a redraft league.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
