James Conner Dealing With Quad Injury
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that running back James Conner (quadriceps) is dealing with an injured quadriceps muscle heading into the Week 15 game against the Bengals on Monday night. The good news is that Conner will have an extra day to rest up, but it won't give his fantasy managers confidence after he carried the ball 10 times for just 18 yards in the Week 14 loss to the Bills on Sunday night. It hasn't just been Conner, either, as Pittsburgh's running game hasn't been successful in a while. You'll need to closely monitor Conner's practice status this week and pick up Benny Snell Jr. if you're in a pinch. The good news, though, is that the Bengals have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to the running back position this year, so Conner will have RB2 upside if he can play through the injury.
