Jake Lamb To Miss Around Six Weeks
Jake Lamb is dealing with a Grade 2 strain of his left quadriceps and could miss around six weeks. Lamb came into the year in a platoon with Christian Walker at first base because of his inability to hit left-handers, and now he'll miss around two months of action. The left-handed power hitter only played in 56 games last season due to injury after hitting a combined 59 long balls in 2016 and 2017. He's not a must-hold in deeper mixed leagues, but Walker is worth a look now that he'll be seeing everyday playing time.
