Jaguars Cut Willie Johnson
2 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars cut wide receiver Willie Johnson on Wednesday with a failed-physical designation. The 26-year-old pass-catcher didn't play a single game for the Jaguars in his rookie season in 2022 because he was on Injured Reserve with an undisclosed injury. Johnson landed in Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent and will now look to latch on with another organization for the upcoming 2023 campaign. He can provide receiving depth while also contributing on special teams as a kick returner.
