2 years agoWhen asked if Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will be on the roster this season, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah didn't say yes. "Conversations are always ongoing with him. We're trying to be solutions-oriented and always try to put the roster together within our constraints," Adofo-Mensah said. There have been some rumors about Cook being traded this offseason, but nothing has come close. The 27-year-old has a 2023 salary cap number of $14.1 million, and both he and Alexander Mattison could become trade bait in the upcoming draft. Cook has been a Pro Bowler each of the last four years and has gone over 1,000 yards rushing in all of them, but the Vikes might be ready to give the primary job to Mattison with Cook getting into his late-20s.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
