Indiana and head football coach Curt Cignetti have agreed to an eight-year contract extension that will pay the coach $11.6 million per year. This reiterates Indiana's commitment to Cignetti while rumors swirl about Cignetti possibly listening to offers from schools without a coach. This should keep Cignetti in Bloomington through the end of the regular season in 2033. Cignetti took the Indiana job at the end of the 2023 season, coming over from James Madison. He led the Hoosiers to an 11-2 record last year and an invite to the College Football Playoff. It was Indiana's first time winning double-digit games in a season. The Hoosier have played football since 1887. Cignetti has Indiana at 6-0 in 2025, earning the No. 3 ranking in the AP Poll. That is the highest ranking in school history.--Mike Marteny - RotoBallerRead More News
