Harrison Bader Not Back From Injured List Yet
11 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (hamstring) was not activated from the injured list before the team's game against the division-rival Boston Red Sox on Friday. Bader was originally expected to return on Friday for the series opener against Boston, but he will now play two more minor-league rehab games with Double-A Somerset on Friday and Saturday before returning to the Yankees on Tuesday. The 29-year-old has been out with a right-hamstring strain since late May and went hitless with two strikeouts in four at-bats for Somerset on Wednesday. Bader was hitting .267 (24-for-90) with two triples, six home runs, 19 RBI and six stolen bases in 26 games before his injury. His power/speed combination makes him valuable in mixed fantasy leagues, so if he's still available on your waiver wire, pick him up now. Bader is rostered in 43% of Yahoo leagues currently.
