Harrison Bader Not Back From Injured List Yet
1 year agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (hamstring) was not activated from the injured list before the team's game against the division-rival Boston Red Sox on Friday. Bader was originally expected to return on Friday for the series opener against Boston, but he will now play two more minor-league rehab games with Double-A Somerset on Friday and Saturday before returning to the Yankees on Tuesday. The 29-year-old has been out with a right-hamstring strain since late May and went hitless with two strikeouts in four at-bats for Somerset on Wednesday. Bader was hitting .267 (24-for-90) with two triples, six home runs, 19 RBI and six stolen bases in 26 games before his injury. His power/speed combination makes him valuable in mixed fantasy leagues, so if he's still available on your waiver wire, pick him up now. Bader is rostered in 43% of Yahoo leagues currently.
