Harrison Bader Hits Fifth Homer Of Season Tuesday
6 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Harrison Bader got in on the action in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Yankees, going 2-for-4 with a single, a solo home run, and a stolen base. Bader drilled a second-inning Gerrit Cole fastball deep into the left-field seats for his fifth HR of the season. The 30-year-old is putting together a solid season after a few disappointing ones, slashing .272/.319/.404 with 29 runs scored, 28 RBI, and 11 stolen bases in 232 plate appearances. He does not play as much against lefties due to poor performance, which limits his fantasy value. However, Bader's speed makes him a worthwhile fantasy option in roto leagues, and he will remain even more of an asset if he continues to hit for average.
