Grant Calcaterra Listed as DNP for Second Straight Day
Grant Calcaterra (oblique) was listed as a non-participant for the second straight day this week. It's looking unlikely that Calcaterra will be able to suit up on a short week on Thursday night against the division-rival New York Giants after he injured his oblique in the Week 5 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. If Calcaterra is ruled out for Week 6 on Thursday, Kylen Granson will be bumped up to the TE2 role behind starter Dallas Goedert. Calcaterra was unable to take advantage of Goedert missing a game earlier this year, and he has only four catches on six targets for 40 yards in five games played in 2025. If Calcaterra is inactive on Thursday, his next chance to play would be in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings.
