Garrett Mitchell Dealing With Shoulder Subluxation
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell (shoulder) appeared to suffer a shoulder subluxation while sliding into third base in the 10th inning of Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. It remains to be seen what the severity is, but he will travel back to Milwaukee with the team on Wednesday and continues to receive treatment. We should have an update on his status soon, and fantasy managers should at least expect the 24-year-old to miss a few games, including Wednesday's series final against Seattle. Mitchell went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts before leaving on Tuesday, and he's now hitting .259 (15-for-58) with a double, triple, three home runs, six RBI, a stolen base and nine runs scored in 16 games in his second MLB season.
