Eagles Activate Tyree Jackson From Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles activated tight end Tyree Jackson (back) from Injured Reserve on Saturday and also elevated running back Jordan Howard and wide receiver John Hightower from the practice squad to the active roster. Jackson has yet to appear in an NFL game, but the Eagles have high hopes for him in the future. There's opportunity for the 23-year-old to factor into the offense by season's end behind Dallas Goedert. Rookie Jack Stoll is the only other tight end on Philadelphia's active roster. But don't expect much from Jackson this year after he recovered from a fractured back that he suffered in the middle of training camp. Jackson is a converted quarterback that is worth keeping an eye on.
