Drew Lock Leads Broncos To Comeback Win Over Chargers
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock had his best game of the season in the Week 8 comeback win over the Chargers. The second-year signal-caller from Missouri went 26-for-41 for 248 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for a 94.4 quarterback rating. It was Lock's first game throwing a touchdown pass since the season-opener against the Titans, but he also missed two games with a right shoulder sprain. The 23-year-old has attempted 81 passes the last two weeks, but he hasn't topped 254 yards passing in a single contest this year. Sunday's comeback win was a nice statement, but Lock will need to do more to cement himself as anything more than a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers. He'll have a great opportunity to build upon this performance in Week 9 against a porous Falcons secondary.
