2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to release starting pitcher Trevor Bauer after his suspension was reduced by 130 games and he became eligible to play in 2023. The word around the Dodgers clubhouse is that they would prefer that he pitch elsewhere next season. It remains to be seen if a small-market club that normally wouldn't have a chance at a player of Bauer's caliber will take a chance on him. The 31-year-old right-hander missed most of 2021 and all of the 2022 campaign, but he'll get a chance to return next season if anyone will have him. Bauer, who won the National League Cy Young in 2020 with the Cincinnati Reds, will be a complete wild card next year if he's picked up.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
