Dalvin Cook Good To Go Against Packers
4 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (groin) was taken off the final injury report and is good to go for Week 8 against the division-rival Packers. Cook was injured in Week 5 and missed the Week 6 contest before the team had their bye in Week 7, so Cook is well-rested and ready to go. He was leading the NFL in rushing yards before his injury and will return as the bell-cow back in Minnesota. In the season-opening loss to Green Bay, Cook had 12 carries for 50 yards and two rushing touchdowns. The Packers Defense is allowing the second-most fantasy points to running backs per game this year, so Cook will return to a very nice matchup. The 25-year-old has scored in every game this season and is a must-start in fantasy now that he's back healthy.
