Dallas Keuchel Throwing Simulated Games
Dallas Keuchel is throwing 95-pitch simulated games every five days, according to his agent, Scott Boras. “We are in discussion with a number of clubs,” Boras said. Keuchel has been in discussions with several teams for a while it seems, but he's holding out for the right deal. His fantasy value obviously continues to drop rapidly with the regular season already underway, but he should eventually land with a team and be inserted into the starting rotation. The good news is he appears to be in regular season shape. The 31-year-old left-hander and former Cy Young winner isn't really a strikeout artist and would benefit from going somewhere known as a pitcher's park. The Astros, who he's spent all seven years of his career, have reportedly made him several offers already. If Keuchel is on your waiver wire, he'll surely be scooped up immediately whenever he signs with a team.
