2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy told wide receiver Michael Gallup that "he will be featured more" in the offense in 2023. Despite the departure of Amari Cooper, Gallup had only 39 receptions for 424 yards and four touchdowns on 74 targets in 14 regular season games (11 starts) for the Cowboys in his fifth year with the team in 2022. In addition to CeeDee Lamb, Dallas added Brandin Cooks to their passing attack this offseason, so despite McCarthy's statement, it seems hard to believe that Gallup will see that much more work in the aerial attack. The good news, though, is that the 27-year-old pass-catcher won't be recovering from a torn ACL like he was last offseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
