Cowboys Expected To Be Aggressive At TE In Draft
2 years agoWith a huge hole at tight end on their roster, the Dallas Cowboys are expected to be aggressive in finding a dynamic option in this year's draft, perhaps even at the end of the first round. Utah's Dalton Kincaid (back) is a name to watch early on, and he has a similar skill set to Mike Gesicki and could give quarterback Dak Prescott a safety blanket as a seam-stretcher. Kincaid has been dealing with a back injury during the pre-draft process, but multiple teams still expect him to be a first-round pick. Cornerback could also be a focus for Dallas on Day 2, according to a source with knowledge of the team's draft plans. South Carolina's Darius Rush has been connected to Dallas. The Cowboys understand that Stephon Gilmore could only be a one-year solution in the secondary.
