Carlos Correa Expected To Play Thursday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli suspects that shortstop Carlos Correa (back) will be back in the starting lineup to take on the New York Yankees on the road on Thursday. He's going through an intense day in the batting cage as a final test on Wednesday and also worked out on Tuesday. The 28-year-old has missed the last three games due to back spasms, but he appears to be fine heading into the weekend. It's good news, too, as backup shortstop Kyle Farmer (face) left Wednesday's game early after being hit by a pitch. Fantasy managers are hoping that Correa can get going after collecting six hits in his first 33 at-bats with two doubles, no home runs and two RBI in his first eight games played.
