2 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons are hosting Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud for a visit on Wednesday. The Falcons have the No. 8 overall pick in this year's NFL draft next Thursday night. Now that Alabama QB Bryce Young is the overwhelming favorite to go first overall to the Carolina Panthers, it has become plausible that Stroud could still be available for the Falcons when they make their pick at eighth overall. Reports have also surfaced that the Houston Texans aren't high on Stroud at No. 2 overall. Still, Stroud isn't expected to be available to Atlanta with the No. 8 pick after being named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year in both of his seasons with the Buckeyes. The Falcons are also comfortable with Desmond Ridder under center in 2023, so they aren't desperate to take a QB in the top 10.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
