Bryan Reynolds Lands On Injured List
1 year agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates placed outfielder Bryan Reynolds (back) on the 10-day injured list on Thursday due to lower-back stiffness. The Pirates initially didn't believe that Reynolds' back injury was serious, but they've changed their tune and will now have him sit out for at least the next 10 days. Depending on how he recovers, there's a chance fantasy managers won't have the 28-year-old switch-hitter until after the All-Star break. Reynolds is having a fine season so far, slashing .279/.350/.473 with an .823 OPS, eight home runs, 20 doubles, three triples, 40 RBI, eight stolen bases and 38 runs scored in 294 trips to the plate over 68 games. Until Reynolds is able to return, expect the Pirates to roll with Josh Palacios and Connor Joe in left field.
