2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense/special teams unit definitely cannot be trusted in a Week 17 matchup with the high-scoring Kansas City Chiefs offense, especially after allowing 51 points and 388 total yards to quarterback Baker Mayfield and the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. On the season, Denver's D has been one of the stingier units in the NFL in terms of points allowed and total yards surrendered per game, but they don't turn the ball over that much and haven't played all that well when facing stronger offensive units like the Chiefs. Back in Week 14 in their first meeting, they surrendered 431 total yards of offense and allowed 34 points to Patrick Mahomes and Company.
