Brandon McManus Needs To Be Avoided
4 years agoDenver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus shouldn't be in any starting fantasy lineups this weekend for a Week 15 matchup against the Bills on Saturday. McManus landed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week as a high-risk close contact of someone outside the organization that tested positive for the virus. The 29-year-old could still be cleared from the protocol before the game on Saturday, but even then, he's not the greatest fantasy option at the position. McManus has a nice 91.7 percent mark on 24 field-goal attempts -- both of his misses were from 50-plus yards -- but his 24 attempts are tied for 17th in the league. He'll have the benefit of kicking in altitude if he's active, but the Broncos inconsistent offense just isn't giving him enough volume to make him a realistic weekly fantasy option. They also probably won't be afforded the luxury of settling for field against the Bills high-powered offense, either.
