Brandon Marsh Hitting Fifth Again In Game 1
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh is starting in center field and is hitting fifth in the lineup again in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox and right-hander Lance Lynn. Marsh has earned a higher lineup spot with the Phillies against right-handed pitchers by hitting an impressive .378 (17-for-45) with five doubles, a league-leading three triples, two home runs, 10 RBI, a stolen base and 10 runs scored in his first 14 games of the season. The 25-year-old left-handed hitter has now hit in the fifth spot in the batting order in four straight games, so this trend should continue as long as he continues to swing a hot bat. Fantasy managers will want to keep him in their starting lineups until he cools off.
