Bo Nix Leads Team to Win Against Division Rival Chiefs
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix gave it all he had in what was a crucial 22-19 win at home against the division rival Kansas City Chiefs to improve to 9-2 on the season. With running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) placed on IR with a potential season-ending injury, the Broncos were forced to lean on the passing game more with Nix completing 24 of 37 passes for 295 yards, but didn't throw a touchdown or interception in Sunday's win. Nix would add eight rushing yards on three carries, but what's most notable was his magic down the stretch on their final drive. Emerging wide receiver Troy Franklin made a 32-yard grab at the end of a drive where Nix racked up 62 passing yards to put the Broncos in position for kicker Wil Lutz to make the game-winning field goal from 35 yards out. While Nix had a mediocre fantasy night in a tough matchup, this should bode well for his confidence going into the Broncos' Week 12 bye.
