Bo Bichette Hits First Home Run Of The Season
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette hit his first home run of the season in Monday's 9-5 loss to the Kansas City Royals. Bichette finished the game 2-for-5 with a strikeout and is now hitting .421 (8-for-19) with a double, home run, two RBI and three runs scored in the early going in four games. Surprisingly, his home run on Monday was also the team's first of the year. The 25-year-old is one of the best young shortstops in the game and needs to be in all starting lineups on a daily basis in season-long leagues. In the last two seasons, he has racked up 53 home runs and 38 stolen bases, and he could be looking to run even more in 2023 with the new rules.
