Bills May Wait To Fill Linebacker Void
2 years agoIt's possible that the Buffalo Bills draft a linebacker in the first round this year since they don't pick until No. 27, but the front office may also look to the offensive side of the ball since they haven't selected an offensive player in the first round since quarterback Josh Allen in 2018. The inside linebacker position has been devalued, and the Bills have already said they'd like to give the players already on roster a chance to fill the middle linebacker spot. If Buffalo does try to fill the void left by linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, Arkansas' Drew Sanders and Clemson's Trenton Simpson are two prospects to keep an eye on late in the first round. The Bills have visited with both players already. If they don't go with a linebacker, they could take a wide receiver with their first-round selection.
