The Cincinnati Bengals released quarterback Ryan Finley and offensive tackle Bobby Hart on Friday to clear some salary cap space for the 2021 season. Finley was a fourth-round pick of the Bengals in 2019. In eight games (four starts) for Cincinnati, he threw for 638 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions on 58-for-199 passing (48.7 completion percentage). Hart has appeared in 79 career games (66 starts) and arrived with the Bengals in 2018. He was a seventh-round selection by the New York Giants in 2015 and started in 21 games for the G-Men before he was cut. Hart won the starting right tackle job in 2018 but finished that season with a 57.1 Pro Football Focus grade as one of the worst starting right tackles in the league. He was much better last season, but he was still a major liability along the offensive line.--Keith Hernandez
