Antonio Senzatela Takes The Loss On Sunday
4 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela took the loss when he allowed five runs on eight hits with four strikeouts across six innings in a 6-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. Senzatela gave up three runs in the second inning when Joey Votto poked an RBI single and Eugenio Suarez swatted a two-run homer. He settled down until the bottom of the seventh inning but he then hit Kyle Farmer with a pitch and served up a double to Shogo Akiyama before leaving the game. Carlos Estevez replaced him and allowed both inherited runners to score. The 26-year-old now owns a mediocre 4.62 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 42:17 K/BB ratio over 64 1/3 innings (12 starts). He'll get the Brewers at home in his next start but won't be a recommended fantasy option in that one.
