Eduardo Rodriguez Sharp During Thursday's Start
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez bounced back nicely on the mound during Thursday's start against the Colorado Rockies. Last week, Rodriguez was smacked around for five runs against this same Rockies club. The southpaw looked much better this week as the only damage against him was on a solo home run by Kyle Farmer. Rodriguez went seven innings, allowing one earned run on six hits while striking out six batters in the win. The left-hander doesn't have great overall numbers with a 5.40 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, and a 111/43 K/BB ratio across 21 starts this season. He'll have some deep league appeal against the Cleveland Guardians during his next start.
