Alex Bregman Undergoes Elbow Surgery
Alex Bregman (elbow) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow on Friday to remove loose bodies, according to the team. He will be limited in spring training but is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. It's not a serious surgery, but it's something to keep an eye on, especially if Bregman gets off to a slow start to begin the year. This news is unlikely to deter fantasy owners from taking the 24-year-old early in fantasy drafts after he slashed .286/.394/.532 with 31 homers, 103 RBI, 105 runs and 10 stolen bases in 2018. He's RotoBaller's No. 4 third baseman behind Jose Ramirez, Nolan Arenado and Manny Machado.
