5/29:After he tossed 24 pitches in his save on Saturday afternoon, the New York Yankees opted not to use interim closer Dellin Betances with the score 7-5 in their favor yesterday. The game was in the eighth inning, and relief pitcher Adam Warren was called on to record the final out, which he did successfully. In the bottom of the eighth, the Yankees would tack on two more runs, increasing their lead to a more comfortable 9-5. Therefore, Warren returned for the ninth and retired the side in order, putting the finishing touches on his first save of the season.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
