Kyle's favorite WR vs. CB matchups to exploit for Week 15 of 2025 - DFS wide receivers to target on DraftKings and FanDuel. These WR/CB matchups are GPP and cash game opportunities.
Welcome to the Wide Receiver Matchups to Target column for Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season. We're nearing the end of the season, so we have all the data in the world at our disposal. We'll use individual performance, matchup grades, pace of play, and implied totals to pinpoint the best WRs to target in daily fantasy lineups. Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson didn't come close to the 3x mark for us last week, but Christian Watson and Michael Wilson did their part. Khalil Shakir and Jakobi Meyers failed to hit 3x as well, but they were both net positives in lineups as they both reached the end zone.
This week, we'll break down the top five WR/CB matchups using Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades, along with key usage metrics that indicate which players can realistically hit three times their DraftKings salary. This is meant to serve as a guide for both cash games and GPPs -- these guys are in position to smash regardless of the contest type you're playing in.

Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
- $8.7K on DraftKings, $9.7K on FanDuel
- Vs. D.J. Reed, Rock Ya-Sin, Amik Robertson (Detroit Lions)
Nacua went ballistic in Week 14, catching 7-of-11 targets for 167 yards and two scores (38.7 DK points) in a matchup against an overmatched Arizona defense. His salary remained the same on DraftKings, and now he'll be lining up against a vulnerable Lions defense in a game with an absurd 55-point implied total. The Rams have the highest implied team total on the slate at an eye-popping 30.5 points, and while touchdown-savant Davante Adams is tracking to play, Nacua could be looking at another ceiling game in this spot.
According to @PFF, Puka Nacua ranks 1st in offensive grade (94.6) and receiving grade (94.6) among all skill position players in the NFL.
Nacua is also T-1st in receptions (93), 2nd in Rec Yds (1,186), 7th in yards after catch (432) and 11th in Rec TDs (6), according to… pic.twitter.com/qnAGpnsewV

Detroit has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season, trailing only the Dallas Cowboys in that statistic. They rank as an elite defense in PFF's grading and pass DVOA, but, notably, they rank 28th in pass DVOA vs. WR1s this season and have permitted the most passing yards per game (318.3) over their last three contests.
He'll primarily match up against D.J. Reed (42nd of 111 CBs) and Rock Ya-Sin (32nd of 111 CBs), the latter of which has allowed a very-high 15.5 average depth of target (aDOT) this season. Nacua should see a ton of work in this high-stakes shootout, and he should be in lineups as a core piece with slate-breaking upside in Week 15.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
- $8.6K on DraftKings, $10K on FanDuel
- Vs. Mekhi Blackmon, Kenny Moore II (Indianapolis Colts)
JSN has scored at least 20.3 DK points in eight of his last nine games. He has produced at least 28.1 DK points five times in that span. He has been as steady as it gets for a WR1 in fantasy football this season, with his only recent blip coming in a 26-0 blowout win against the Vikings in Week 13. He ranks first in target share (35.7%), deep targets (1.8 per game), air yards (112.2 per game), receiving yards (109.8 per game), fantasy points per game (22.1), expected fantasy points per game (19.7), yards per route run (4.10), and expected points added (+101.5).

A matchup with the Colts shouldn't scare anyone off the breakout superstar in Week 15. Indianapolis has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to WRs while ranking 24th in PFF's defense grade and 29th in PFF's coverage grade. There's plenty of meat on the bone in this matchup, especially with Sauce Gardner tracking to miss another week of action.
That leaves Mekhi Blackmon (104th of 111 CBs) as the primary defender, a corner who has posted a coverage grade above 60.6 in just 3 of 14 games this season. JSN is going to eat this secondary for lunch; the Seahawks holding a high 28.5-point implied team total only gives us more confidence in plugging him into DFS lineups.

Nico Collins, Houston Texans
- $6.7K on DraftKings, $8.3K on FanDuel (DraftKings Preferred)
- Vs. Denzel Burke, Will Johnson (Arizona Cardinals)
Collins has been hitting 3x (or just barely missing it) frequently late in the season, posting at least 19.1 DK points in four of his last five games heading into Week 15. He's doing this despite only scoring one touchdown in that span, a fact that could easily change in a matchup against a Cardinals defense that just allowed Nacua to explode for 38.7 DK points.
Arizona ranks 27th in PFF's defense grade, 15th in pass DVOA, and 23rd in defensive EPA. They're a middle-of-the-pack defense when you look at it holistically, but as we just saw with Nacua, they're susceptible to alpha WR1s taking over the game.

Denzel Burke (47th of 111 CBs), Will Johnson (44th of 111 CBs), and Garrett Williams (45th of 111 CBs) are all pretty mediocre, evidenced by the trio having allowed seven combined touchdowns to WRs this season. The Texans' running back corps of Woody Marks (Q) and Nick Chubb (Q) is banged up, so that could also force the Texans to lean more heavily on Collins and the passing game in a crucial game for their playoff hopes. Fire up Nico and hope he can torch this defense the same way Nacua and the Rams did in Week 14.
Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars
- $5.6K on DraftKings, $6.1K on FanDuel
- Vs. Jordan Clark, Azareye'h Thomas, Brandon Stephens (New York Jets)
As mentioned in this article last week, Jakobi Meyers has instantly become the favorite target for Trevor Lawrence since he arrived in Jacksonville. He holds a solid 26% target share and comfortably leads the team in targets (31), receptions (22), receiving yards (284), and touchdowns (3) since being acquired. He has put up at least 11.4 DK points in each of his last four games, and now he'll have a great chance to hit another ceiling game against a vulnerable Jets defense in Week 15.
The Jets rank 21st in PFF's defense grade, 27th in PFF's coverage grade, 31st in pass DVOA, 27th in pass DVOA vs. WR1s, and 28th in defensive EPA. Jordan Clark (unranked) will be his primary defender, a rookie who posted an abysmal 38.1 PFF defense grade in his first career game in Week 14.
He'll also see a lot of Azareye'h Thomas (81st of 111 CBs) and Brandon Stephens (21st of 111 CBs), the latter of whom has given up six touchdowns in his coverage this season. There's some risk that the Jaguars won't need to pass as they're nine-point favorites at home, but Meyers looks like an excellent mid-range GPP flyer.
Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers
- $5.2K on DraftKings, $6.2K on FanDuel
- Vs. Kevin Winston Jr., Darrell Baker Jr., Marcus Harris (Tennessee Titans)
Jennings is another mid-range option who looks like an excellent choice for DFS lineups in Week 15. He has quietly been a touchdown machine lately, reaching the end zone and scoring at least 13.9 DK points in four of his last five contests. He has been the most trusted wide receiver for Brock Purdy as of late, and he has an above-average chance at posting a ceiling game in a favorable matchup against the "dreaming of Cancun" Titans this week.
Tennessee ranks 28th in pass DVOA, 31st in pass DVOA vs. WR1s, and 29th in defensive EPA while allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to WRs. They've allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game over their last three contests and the sixth-most receiving yards to WRs over the course of the season.
Kevin Winston Jr. (75th of 95 Ss) projects as his primary defender, and his stats are brutal as he has allowed a shocking 90% catch rate, 17.5 aDOT, and 18.8 yards per reception in his coverage this season. He's not the most exciting click in the world, but Jennings is a rock-solid mid-range option for our lineups this week.
Honorable mention: Zay Flowers (Baltimore Ravens)
