NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Commanders vs. Seahawks Sunday Night Showdown

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Commanders vs. Seahawks SNF slate for Week 9 Sunday Night Football (Nov. 2, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Hope everyone has a great morning. What a Game 7 of the World Series was. It was a great MLB season, and I can't wait for it to come back. In the meantime, though, we have plenty of NFL and NBA content to keep y'all busy this season. Let's get started with another great SNF matchup!

We get a great matchup for us on Sunday Night Football this week! The Seattle Seahawks (5-2) travel to D.C. to take on the Washington Commanders (3-5). Commanders look to rebound with Jayden Daniels back in the lineup, and the Seahawks look to continue being one of the best teams in the NFC this week.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Sunday Night Football in Week 9 -- Commanders vs. Seahawks on November 2, 2025. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - WR, $18K (DK), $20.1K (FD)

I don't think there are enough words to describe how good JSN has been this season. Dude is having just an absurd season as the lead WR in this Seattle offense. He has five games this season of 100+ yards, and after a slow start in the end zone, he has four touchdowns in his last five weeks. He has even pushed 17+ fantasy points in all but one week, but it's been the previous three weeks that have put him above the rest. He has been putting up QB numbers with 25 fantasy points in those three weeks.

The Commanders' defense is 10th in fantasy points given up to opposing WRs this season. But they are fourth in yards given up. JSN is averaging 10 targets a game, which is good for nearly 40% of the team's reception share this season. Cooper Kupp is looking questionable to play Sunday Night, which could result in more targets coming JSN's way. He may be the most expensive, but he has also been one of the most consistent guys on the field this season.

Deebo Samuel Sr. - WR, $14.4K (DK), $15.6K (FD)

I thought about putting Daniels here, but that's the top two players on the slate, and that's no fun. Terry McLaurin is back out of the lineup, which moves Deebo Samuel Sr. back into the WR1 role. Samuel had a bad outing last week, but should come back with a big outing against the Seahawks. He's had the downside of having to work with two QBs this season, but having Daniels back should benefit him. At the beginning of the season, it worked out well.

Samuel has had double-digit fantasy points in four of his seven games this season. He also should see a great matchup against Devon Witherspoon in the slot. Witherspoon has given up .34 fantasy points per route run this season. Samuel has also seen a 35% share of the red zone targets this season with McLaurin out. Samuel should receive the majority of targets in the game as the lead receiver.

Other Captains/MVPs: Jayden Daniels, Sam Darnold

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Charbonnet - RB, $7K (DK), $8.6K (FD)

The Seahawks have a tough running back room to read. I think at the beginning of the season, Kenneth Walker III was the more fantasy-relevant option. But in the last few weeks, that trend has shifted more towards Zach Charbonnet. Charbonnet is nearly 3k cheaper on FD, and has been quite the ball hawk in the red zone. The Seahawks offense runs the ball 64.6% of the time in the red zone. When they do run the ball, Charbonnet is seeing the majority of the carries as 54% compared to Walker's 38% this season.

Charbonnet has also seen almost two targets a game in the passing game across the last four weeks, and if Kupp is out, then Charbonnet could be used more. I think with the price difference between the two backs is really driving me towards Charbonnet here, I'll probably get a couple of lineups with Walker just in case he snipes a TD or two, but it seems like the Seahawks are leaning more on Charbonnet lately.

Zach Ertz - TE, $6.2K (DK), $7.2K (FD)

Zach Ertz, like Samuel, should see an uptick in usage this week. With McLaurin down, Ertz should be looked towards more. Especially with Daniels back in the lineup, with whom he seems to have more chemistry. In Weeks 6 and 7, with Daniels in and McLaurin out, Ertz saw some of his best games of the season with double-digit fantasy points.

Ertz should be in line for a decent matchup. The Seahawks haven't allowed a lot of touchdowns to TEs this season, but they have given up the seventh-most receiving yards to them this season. Ertz is still relatively cheap, and with the run game being rough this season for the Commanders, expect Daniels to rely on the passing game more.

Other Flex Options: Kenneth Walker III, Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Tory Horton- WR, $3.2K (DK), $3K (FD)

Tory Horton has been pretty absent over the last two weeks, coming up empty on four targets. But he should be in for a big week here against the Commanders. I just got word, as I was writing this, that Kupp is likely to be out for this contest. That should spring Horton into a bigger role.

This season, Horton already has three touchdowns, and early in the season, he had a solid role. He should find himself lined up against Marshon Lattimore, who has given up .22 fantasy points per route run this season. Seattle is thin at the WR position already, with Jake Bobo and Dareke Young already ruled out. Horton should be locked into a clear WR2 spot at an extremely cheap price.

Luke McCaffrey - WR, $5.4K (DK), $5K (FD)

Picking one of the Commander's other WRs is like drawing a name out of a hat. You also have the likes of Jaylin Lane and Chris Moore, who are viable options in the absence of McLaurin. I mainly give the edge out to Luke McCaffrey here because of his success in the red zone this season. He has three touchdowns this season, all in the time McLaurin was gone.

He has a 10.5% red zone target share, which is pretty low, but also higher than both Moore and Lane, who only have one touchdown between the two of them. McCaffrey isn't a high target guy, but if he can get it done here in the end zone, that's gonna be big for us at only 5k on FD.

Other Value Options: AJ Barner, Jaylin Lane, Chris Moore

Sample NFL DFS Lineup

Here is a lineup option I like for Sunday morning's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups.
