MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (4/26/25)

Freddie Freeman - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, MLB News

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 4/26/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Once again, we have another light main slate for this wonderful Saturday evening! It is only a five-game slate, and lucky for us, there shouldn't be any weather issues that could impact the slate. We don't have a hefty pitching slate, which should ease up the hitting side of things and get us some of the heavy hitters on the slate.

With this being a smaller slate, it can be a bit tougher to get different, but I will do my best to get y'all a variety of cash and tournament plays.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/26/2025 the main slate locks at 7:10 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will feature elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Luis Castillo - SEA vs. MIA ($8.6K DK; $9K FD)

Luis Castillo hasn't quite met expectations this season, as he has been much more hittable than he was in past years. His strikeout numbers are down a bit, but I'm less worried about that here against Miami. Seattle has the highest odds of anyone to win on this slate at -230. This makes Castillo more appealing on this slate than some guys in closer matchups.

In April, Miami is bottom 10 in the league in wRC+. It also has the fifth-worst K% to opposing RHP at 25 percent. If Castillo can keep the walks low and get through six innings, then I expect him to be one of the highest-scoring pitchers on the slate.

Framber Valdez - HOU vs. KC ($8.8K DK; $8.6K FD)

Framber Valdez is getting an elite matchup here against the Royals. The Royals have been progressively getting worse against LHP this season. In the last two weeks, they rank fourth worst in wRC+ against LHP at 45. Valdez has been a bit up and down this season, but has quality starts in three of his five starts and two big strikeout games against the Giants and Mariners.

The Royals have a 29.3 percent K% across the last two weeks and only a 5 percent BB% in that time. Valdez has a solid 10.4 percent SwStr% and a near 22 percent K% this season. With the Royals slumping as badly as they have been lately, I like Valdez to take advantage of that and get the win.

Ryan Pepiot - TB vs. SD ($7.3K DK; $8.4K FD)

This one is for those playing GPP and want to get a little risky. Going against the Padres isn't for the faint-hearted. Although Shane Baz cruised through seven innings and only gave up four hits in the process. Pepiot is a heavy strikeout pitcher with 7+ Ks in three of his five starts and a SwStr% of almost 14 percent! Pepiot isn't giving up very much contact when he hits in the zone with a 79 percent Z-Contact%, either.

If the Padres come out cold once again, they are going to run into a freight train with Pepiot. It's always risky going up against the Padres this season, but going with a pitcher like Pepiot in your GPP lineups could make it a winner.

Also Consider: Dylan Cease - SD vs. TB ($9K DK; $8.7K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Freddie Freeman, 1B - LAD vs. Mitch Keller ($5.4K DK; $3.6K FD)

Freeman gets a lovely matchup here against Mitch Keller. LHH are hitting much better against Keller than RHH are. They are slugging .431 with a .356 wOBA, much higher than the .154 SLG RHH are doing against him.

Freeman has 10 hits in his last nine games, six of them for XBH. He is also hitting RHP for .333 so far this season. Freeman is one of the top infield players on the entire slate, and that lefty-on-righty matchup is gold here.

Rowdy Tellez, 1B - SEA vs. Connor Gillispie ($2.4K DK; $2.4K FD)

I didn't think at any point I would be touting Rowdy Tellez this season, but here I am. Tellez has been platooning specifically against RHP this season, and he seems to be finding his footing as of late. He has six hits in his last seven games, three of which are home runs. Gillispie seems to be slightly better against lefties when it comes to pure hitting, but gives up a lot more runs and home runs to left-handed hitters.

Lefties are slugging .500 with a .328 wOBA against Gillispie. The Mariners are starting to figure it out in the hitting department, and if they can get a guy like Tellez to keep hitting well, he could be a dangerous guy to have in the lineup. Tellez is also dirt cheap on both sites, giving us extra room elsewhere to pay up for some of the top hitters on the slate.

Tim Tawa, 2B - ARZ vs. Grant Holmes ($3.5K DK; $2.8K FD)

Rookie Tim Tawa has been crushing it in Ketel Marte's absence. Across the last 10 games, he is slugging .808 with a wOBA of .469 against RHP. Grant Holmes has been decent to start the year, with the weather in optimal conditions for hitting tonight in Arizona. I like the hitters quite a bit in this game. Tawa is still pretty underpriced for what his output has been recently.

Tawa has homered in four of his last eight games, and they were all hit on RHP. He also has a couple of stolen bases in that time, showing he can bring more to the table than just power.

Also Consider: Jorge Polanco, 2B/3B/SS - SEA ($4K DK; $3.1K FD), Josh Naylor, 1B - ARZ ($5.5K DK; $3.2K FD), Austin Riley, 3B - ATL ($4.9K DK; $3.4K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Corbin Carroll, OF - ARZ vs. Grant Holmes ($6.3K DK; $4.5K FD)

Corbin Carroll has been off to a blistering start to the season. He has 18 hits in his last 12 games and is crushing RHP right now. Slugging .766 with a .465 wOBA on the season is just red-hot numbers. He has all but one of his league-leading home runs against RHP.

Like I said with Tawa, Holmes has been decent, but going up against a hot hitter like Carroll will be a tall task. He is averaging over 17 FP a game this season, and although he is expensive, there are plenty of cheaper plays on this slate to make it work.

The Arizona stack is one of my favorites on the slate, as it has one of the highest implied run totals at five.

Oneil Cruz, OF - PIT vs. Roki Sasaki ($5.7K DK; $3.8K FD)

This one is more for those on FD, as he is much more affordable when paired with other guys on this slate. Oneil Cruz has been scorching hot recently, scoring 20+ FP in six of his last nine games. He has 12 hits in that time, with five of those being home runs.

His ability to hit for contact and power and have incredible speed on the bases makes for an elite fantasy player. His plate discipline is getting progressively better as he has seen a solid 5 percent increase in his walk rate to pair with his 5 percent decrease in K%.

Cruz is a great one-off play here, as I don't trust much of this Pittsburgh offense outside of him. In his last 10 games, he is slugging an absurd .815 with a .485 wOBA. He is beyond crushing the ball right now. I'll continue to ride the hot hand, especially against a rookie pitcher here in Roki Sasaki.

Michael Harris II, OF - ATL vs. Merrill Kelly ($4.1K DK; $3K FD)

Michael Harris II has started to get things to click recently; he has 11 hits in his last seven games, and although most of them are singles, he is getting on base. Kelly has been damaged the most by LHH this season, where he has given up 10 ER. They are also slugging .381 with a .308 wOBA against him.

He has also walked nine batters compared to the two RHH. In the last five games, Harris is slugging .667 with a .445 wOBA against RHP. With the weather being hot, those baseballs are going to be flying, making this an elite game stack on this smaller slate.

Also Consider: Shohei Ohtani, 1B/OF - LAD ($6.4K DK; $4.4K FD)  Fernando Tatis Jr., OF - SD ($6.2K DK; $4.2K FD), Randy Arozarena, OF - SEA ($4.7K DK; $3.5K FD)
