Welcome back to the DFS Patrol. Regular season basketball is officially over which means it's all baseball here on out. In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/29/16. These streamers will range from high-priced / high-ownership options to low-priced / low-ownership options, and will be sleepers and value picks for your cash games and GPPs on DraftKings and FanDuel, and also for seasonal leagues with daily lineups.

Full slate today with three big money plays (Jon Lester vs Braves, Stephen Strasburg @ STL, Corey Kluber @ Phillies) and two rookies making debuts (Sean Manaea, Michael Fulmer). My advice: leave the rookies alone this go round.

Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Jon Lester (CHC) vs ATL

FanDuel - $11,000 / DraftKings - $10,900

He'll only be available if you enter an all-day contest, which brings the risk of locked lineups on FanDuel. But it's a perfect matchup versus a Braves team with four home runs all year. Lester struck out a batter per inning last year at Wrigley and aside from Nick Markakis and Freddie Freeman (both lefties) there's nothing to worry about.

Corey Kluber (CLE) @ PHI

FanDuel - $11,000 / DraftKings - $12,500

A little pricey on DK, but he'll be worth the investment. On paper the 4.67 ERA and 1-3 record look rough, but he has a 3.07 FIP and a 9.7 K/9 rate. I'm expecting a 35+ point outing here on DK and 50+ on FD.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Steven Matz (NYM) vs SF

FanDuel - $8,500 / DraftKings - $7,900

Matz has a 5.40 ERA. He's also struck out over 10 batters per inning. Considering his FIP (2.58), I'm expecting only the latter to continue. The Giants strike out just over six times per game (2nd in MLB), but the price tag combined with a home outing facing Jake Peavy make this a solid play.

Aaron Sanchez (TOR) @ TB

FanDuel - $7,100 / DraftKings - $7,100

Sanchez had a rough outing last week (4 IP, 6 ER) but he's still striking out over eight batters per nine innings. He faced the Rays in his first game this year and dominated (7 IP, ER, 8 K). Hitters do tend to have better success the second go-round, but Sanchez's price makes this a good play.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Hector Santiago (LAA) @ TEX

FanDuel - $8,500 / DraftKings - $7,300

This is more so for FanDuel.  Given Santiago's hot start and success versus Texas last year (2.23 ERA, 7 GS), ownership will be high on the lefty. The Rangers have scored 4.92 runs per game at home (7th in MLB) and are putting together strong at bats in the last week.  I understand the play on DraftKings, but it's a fade on FanDuel.

Alex Wood (LAD) vs SD

FanDuel - $7,800 / DraftKings - $6,400

Way too inconsistent at this point with his location (4.7 BB/9, 1.72 WHIP) and the Padres have hit lefties well in 2016.
