Fantasy Premier League Lineup Picks - Gameweek 33 EPL Preview

Martin provides his recommended lineup picks for the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Draft and Gameweek 33. Target these EPL players in your fantasy lineups.

One of the fastest growing fantasy games is the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) - a season-long version of fantasy soccer for the English Premier League (EPL). With almost six million players this year, the FPL game is becoming a fixture for soccer enthusiasts across the globe.

Here at RotoBaller, we will try to give you the best analysis possible so that you can beat your friends and take on the rest of the world by managing your team in the fantasy version of the beautiful game.

Here is the team analysis and lineup picks for fantasy drafts heading into Gameweek 33. At the end of the day, remember to make the decision you feel is best for the team. Good luck, and enjoy!

The Ones To Buy This Week - Fantasy Premier League

Willian - M, Chelsea (Price: 7.1M)

Chelsea have been on a bit of a downswing in recent weeks, but Willian has garnered consistent playing time as a result of his solid performances. With two goals in his last four games, the Brazilian winger has added to his total tally of six goals and seven assists on the season. Willian is not the top-tier option to get from Chelsea, but at his value he becomes well worth the price due to his solid production this season. With Chelsea having two double gameweeks to finish out the year, now could be the time to invest in a midfielder who is sure to get consistent playing time and will likely start the majority of the games for the rest of the season. Willian needs to prove that he can help Chelsea win out the majority of their remaining games, and with enticing opponents such as Southampton, West Ham, and Burnley before the team's bye in GW35, Willian should be rostered in your team if you have the funds to bring him in.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang  - F, Arsenal (Price: 10.8M)

With four goals in his last three games, Aubameyang has been what Arsenal has been missing in recent weeks. Since arriving in January, the Gabonese forward has five goals and one assist to his name out of a possible six games and has played every single minute thus far. With Arsenal fighting for a European spot and a double gameweek coming up in GW37, Aubameyang should be brought in to close out the season in front of other elite options due to Arsenal's easy schedule and necessity for points at this stage in the season. Aubameyang is very pricey and has seen a rise in value in recent weeks; it would be a good time to pick him up now before his value eclipses the 11M mark within the next few weeks. Aubameyang is an elite option in GW35 and for the rest of the season - bring him in now.

Keep Your Eye On Him

David Silva - M, Man City (8.1M)

Since missing GW26/27, David Silva has been on fire, with either an assist or goal in every game since. With three goals, three assists, and three clean sheets in his last four games, Silva has been the difference maker for the majority of fantasy lineups this season. The Spaniard will likely play every minute to close out the season and, after games against Manchester United and Tottenham, Silva has a an extremely easy schedule as well as a double gameweek in GW37. Therefore, it might not be the worst idea to track the performances of Silva during the next two weeks and pick him up to close out the season.

Offload Him Now

Bernardo Silva - M, Man City  (7.3M)

After enjoying a spell in the starting lineup as a result of the injuries to Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva has been benched in the last two weeks, severely damaging his fantasy production that saw him have two goals in the two weeks prior to GW30. Silva is a very talented footballer, but with the starting spots being taken up by Sterling and Sane week-in and week-out, Bernardo Silva has become the overlooked man in Man City's attacking corps. Although there will likely be some rotation once Man City secure the title, don't bet on Silva being in the lineup each week. His fantasy production is likely over for this season.

Potential Replacements: Dele Alli (8.9M), Willian (7.1M)

RotoBaller Weekly XI

Team (Prices May Be Over 100M):

GK: Lukasz Fabianski (4.7M)
DF: Nacho Monreal (5.6M), Harry Maguire (5.6M), Ben Mee (4.9M)
MF: Marko Arnautovic (6.9M), David Silva (8.1M), Mohamed Salah (10.3M), Eden Hazard (10.5),
FW: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.8M), Glenn Murray (6M), Roberto Firmino (9.7M)

Analysis:

With a 3-4-3 look again this weekend and focusing on strength in the midfield, Salah and Hazard return to the lineup accompanied by David Silva and man in form Marko Arnautovic. Aubameyang and Firmino up top are guaranteed to produce and Murray should be back in the scoresheets after two weeks of relative quietness. With a solid backline banking on the value of Leicester's Maguire and Burnley's Mee, there is considerable upside for production across all levels of the pitch this weekend.

That's all for this week - good luck!
