FanDuel NFL DFS Week 17 Picks: Top Daily Fantasy Lineup Plays Include Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Jonathan Taylor, More

Travis Kelce - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Dennis Clausen's top FanDuel NFL DFS Week 17 picks and DFS value plays (2023). His top FanDuel daily fantasy football sleepers and NFL DFS lineups advice.

Happy New Year, everyone. Week 17 began with a Thursday night AFC clash between the Browns and Jets. Thanks to another stellar performance from Joe Flacco, Cleveland earned the win to punch their ticket into the postseason for only the second time in over 20 years. Undoubtedly, the Week 17 schedule will feature at least a few captivating matchups, many of which will have significant playoff ramifications.

Of course, although many teams have nothing left to play for, some clubs around the National Football League would love nothing more than to bounce a franchise out of the playoff picture. But navigating lineup changes, injuries, etc., can be challenging at this point in the campaign.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 17 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big!

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Brock Purdy - @ WAS ($8,500)

Purdy landed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Commanders because of a left shoulder stinger. Yet, he's practiced fully all week, meaning he should be good to go in Week 17. Many teams look to rest their top players at this point in the season. Unfortunately, the 49ers have more work to do before clinching the top seed in the NFC moving into the playoffs, so they don't have that luxury.

At any rate, most fantasy managers were more than displeased with Purdy's Christmas Day showing versus the Baltimore Ravens, especially those who had him starting in season-long formats. However, the signal-caller has routinely scored beyond 20 fantasy points in most of his games in the last few months, meaning he has an excellent chance to get back on track versus a Commanders' defense that's allowed more fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks than any team in the league.

Patrick Mahomes - vs. CIN ($8,000)

The Chiefs can secure a postseason berth with a win over the Bengals on Sunday. Both teams have faced off many times in the last few years. But things will look different this time around, mainly since Cincinnati won't have Joe Burrow under center. On the other hand, Kansas City still has Mahomes at the helm, and he'll enter Week 17 with a rostering cost of only $8,000.

Without question, the two-time MVP has struggled at times throughout the season, including a miserable 27-for-44 effort versus the Raiders on Christmas. While Mahomes hasn't amassed more than 17.7 fantasy points in his last four games, the bargain here is too good to pass up.

Also Consider: Gardner Minshew II ($6,700)

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Kyren Williams - @ NYG ($9,400)

With a loss to the Giants, the Rams have a 26% chance to make it beyond the regular season. Yet, it's safe to say Los Angeles should remain optimistic, considering the Giants haven't played well for most of the year. The team is loaded with more than a couple of impactful fantasy performers, although Williams could be considered the best fantasy option for the Rams this season.

There's a good reason; he's surpassed the 100-yard mark on the ground six times, the second-highest in the NFL. There likely would have been a few more had he not missed four games due to injury. Williams also has at least one touchdown in eight of his 11 appearances. He'll look to keep it going versus the Giants, a defense that's struggled to stop the run at times throughout the 2023-24 campaign.

Jonathan Taylor - vs. LV ($8,400)

The Colts are also in the hunt, with Indianapolis hoping to increase their playoff chances with a win over the Raiders, a team that pulled off the upset over Kansas City on Christmas. Fortunately, Indy will have Taylor back on the field for the second time since returning from a three-game layoff because of a thumb injury.

The All-Pro finished with 43 yards off 18 carries in the Week 16 meeting with the Falcons. He also scored a touchdown, which was good news for fantasy managers. Granted, it wasn't Taylor's best showing. However, he'll have a much better matchup this week, and he's also one of the safest options in the player pool.

Joe Mixon - @ KC ($7,300)

Mixon struggled last season and was forced to take a pay cut or risk getting his walking papers. He's gotten off to a slow start to the 2023-24 campaign. Yet, the former Sooner entered the AFC North clash with Pittsburgh having scored at least once in seven of his previous eight appearances. Mixon appears to have developed a solid rapport with Jake Browning, and he should remain heavily involved in a must-win matchup versus the Chiefs.

Also Consider: Christian McCaffrey ($11,000), Rachaad White ($7,900), Ezekiel Elliott ($6,400-questionable)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Brandon Aiyuk - @ WAS ($7,500)

Before Sunday's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, Deebo Samuel was heavily involved (and productive) on the offensive end for the 49ers. But he's battling a sprained neck, so he could be limited even if he suits up against the Commanders.

With this in mind, Aiyuk should see more attention from Brock Purdy versus the Commanders, making him an excellent DFS option versus Washington. However, the 25-year-old had 19 grabs in the three games Samuel missed earlier in the season. As a result, Aiyuk should be a lock if Samuel isn't available in Week 17.

Rashee Rice - vs. CIN ($7,400)

Despite the Chiefs' struggles this season, especially on offense, Rice has emerged as one of the team's top producers. The rookie had just six catches in the Week 16 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Still, he was targeted 12 times.

In fact, Rice has received at least nine targets in the last five games, totaling 50 during that span. He's a good option for Week 17 versus the Bengals in a game that could be one of the highest-scoring affairs on the slate.

Nico Collins - vs. TEN ($7,300)

Collins wasn't available in Week 15 versus the Titans because of a calf injury. While he returned versus the Browns on Christmas Eve, he logged just 32 snaps. Still, the wideout made the most of his limited time on the field, racking up four catches for 18 yards and a touchdown. Collins has now found the end zone in three of his last four games, which fantasy managers always welcome.

The 2021 third-round pick will look to keep it going in Sunday's rematch with the Titans, although he'll need to shed his probable designation. Fortunately, he likely will, and his ceiling will rise even higher if C.J. Stroud returns after missing a few games because of a concussion.

Also Consider: Tyreek Hill ($9,800), Chris Olave ($7,400), Davante Adams ($7,200), Terry McLaurin ($6,600), Alex Erickson ($4,600)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Travis Kelce - vs. CIN ($7,800)

Just like Patrick Mahomes, Kelce has let down plenty of fantasy managers. The All-Pro has dropped some easy catches and hasn't scored in over a month. But Kelce has had a touchdown in two of his previous three meetings with the Bengals, the Chiefs' Week 17 opponent, dating back to January 2022. He should be fired up and ready to roll, even more so with a playoff berth on the line.

Also Consider: Trey McBride ($6,800), George Kittle ($6,700), Gerald Everett ($5,300)
