FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 7 - Daily Fantasy Football

Ja'Marr Chase fantasy football rankings NFL DFS lineup picks

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 7 of the 2021 season, and some value sleepers for your daily fantasy football rosters.

Week 7 began with the short-handed Browns taking on the visiting Broncos. Despite being without Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt, Cleveland was catapulted to the victory, thanks to the fantastic play of D'Ernest Johnson, who had 146 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Week 6 was highlighted by the stellar performance from Derrick Henry. The 2020 Offensive Player of the Year guided the Titans to the Monday Night Football win over the mighty Buffalo Bills, accumulating 143 yards and three trips to the end zone.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 7 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel’s “Main Slate.” These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 7 DFS Lineup Picks

Lamar Jackson, QB - vs. CIN ($8,400)

With the Bengals heading into town, Jackson will find himself squaring off against a team he's grown quite familiar with throughout the years. However, he may have his hands full in Week 7. Led by linebacker Logan Wilson, who ranks tenth in tackles and second in interceptions, Cincinnati's defense has been a significant reason the team has been so successful during the 2021-22 campaign.

Yet, managers shouldn't let that scare them away from utilizing Jackson in DFS lineups. He's accounted for a significant portion of Baltimore's total yardage on the year. The former MVP has also played well against the division rivals over the years. Things will get even more advantageous if Trey Hendrickson, who currently ranks in the top-10 in sacks, doesn't play because of a shoulder injury. Still, even if he does manage to suit up, Jackson has a higher ceiling than most of the other costlier options at the position.

Matthew Stafford, QB - vs. DET ($8,100)

Without question, emotions will be running high when the Rams welcome the Lions to SoFi Stadium. Stafford will surely be the focal point of this contest, primarily since he is the greatest quarterback in Detroit's history. Nonetheless, it should still be business as usual for the veteran.

Vegas loves Stafford in Week 7, so much so that it has him as a top quarterback on Sunday. The signal-caller is currently in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career, and he has a fantastic chance to make his presence felt against a Lion's team that has struggled against opposing quarterbacks over the last few weeks. While there is a good chance that Stafford will downplay the significance of this outing against his former squad, he should be out for blood, especially after so many disappointing seasons throughout his time in the "Motor City."

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 7 DFS Lineup Picks

Derrick Henry, RB - vs. KC ($11,000)

At this point, there is absolutely no denying that Henry is the best back in all of football. He leads the league in rushing, again, and has nearly 20 carries for at least 10 yards or more throughout the initial six weeks.

He also compiled 34.6 fantasy points against Buffalo, his second-best output of the year, and he has now found the end zone three times in as many games on the year. The Colts have stood its ground against the run this season, so at least its defensive unit looks good on paper. Indy also relatively held Henry in check back in Week 3, although he still managed to produce nearly 18 fantasy points.

Joe Mixon, RB - @ BAL ($7,200)

Mixon was bothered by an ankle injury that limited him to only 10 attempts against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5. However, after Samaje Perine landed on the COVID-19 list, it was fortunate he was ready for a full workload against the Lions last Sunday.

The former Oklahoma Sooner is currently in the midst of one of his most productive seasons since he entered the league in 2017. He now has four total touchdowns on the year, which matches his total at this time last year. Yet, Mixon is averaging 4.3 YPC, the second-best mark as a professional, and ranks first overall with 12 broken tackles. While Perine was activated on Thursday and will be in the lineup against Baltimore, he poses little risk of cutting into any of Mixon's volume in Week 7.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 7 DFS Lineup Picks

Davante Adams, WR - vs. WAS ($9,000)

Adams had been on a tear but cooled off to some degree against the Bears, racking up only four catches. Yet, he still managed to piece together 89 yards to finish the game.

Washington hasn't done much lately to slow down opposing quarterbacks. It allowed the subpar Jameis Winston to throw four touchdowns in Week 5 before getting smoked by Patrick Mahomes in Week 6, who threw for nearly 400 yards during the 31-13 victory. Even worse, the Football Team's top corner, William Jackson III did not practice on Friday because of a bum knee. If he doesn't take the field against the Packers, Adams stock will skyrocket without a doubt.

Ja'Marr Chase, @ BAL ($7,500)

What a year Chase has had. He is currently the favorite to take home Rookie of the Year honors, and he has also established himself as one of the best wideouts in the league, doing so despite only appearing in six professional contests.

The former LSU Tiger's classification as a lethal deep threat is undeniable, and he currently leads the league with seven catches beyond 30 yards. While Chase's ceiling is lower in formats that reward one fantasy point for each reception, primarily since he hasn't hauled in a ton of balls compared to some, his tendency to accumulate massive gains makes him a perfect FanDuel candidate in Week 7. The rookie has also scored at least once in four games this year, and his rostering cost is actually lower heading into the showdown with the Ravens than it was in Week 6.

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 7 DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Ertz, RB - vs. HOU ($5,300)

After a lengthy tenure in Philadelphia, Ertz's days in the "City of Brotherly Love" have ended. Throughout his nine seasons as an Eagle, he amassed 579 catches for over 6,200 yards. His 38 touchdowns also put him at seventh in team history.

In his last game in Philly against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and just days before getting traded to Arizona, the 30-year-old grabbed four of his six targets for 29 yards and a touchdown. Nonetheless, with Maxx Williams done for the season after he hurt his knee, Ertz has a legit chance to contribute right away. He has the perfect matchup to do that as well in Week 7 when the Cardinals square off against the Texans, a team that has gotten throttled by opposing tight ends this year. He isn't a cash option. However, there is plenty of upside to consider in tournament formats.
