EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham

The team atop the league table, Tottenham (-125), take on Crystal Palace Sunday morning. They have just one loss in the league this year that came on Matchday 1, and they should be able to handle Palace in this match. Palace will not go down easy though especially with their good defense at home. The goal total over/under is 2.5 with two strong defenses here.

Fulham vs Liverpool

Liverpool (-290) are on the road against Fulham in the second game Sunday. Liverpool are the slate's largest favorite, and they should roll Fulham handily. There is plenty to like from the Liverpool side in this game. The goal total over/under is 3.5 which is a whole goal higher than any other game on the slate.

Arsenal vs Burnley

Arsenal (-190) host Burnley in an important match. Both teams have been pretty poor in the league this season especially when it comes to generating goals. They have just 15 goals in 21 games between them, and each only has one win in their last five EPL games. Arsenal should have the advantage here though with their solid defense at home going against Burnley's struggling attacking unit. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

Leicester vs Brighton

The second late game on Sunday is the one with the closest Vegas odds. Leicester (+105) are small home favorites at the King Power Stadium against Brighton. Leicester are a top four team right now, but their form is not great coming into this game having lost two of their last three. They conceded two goals per game in that stretch, and now they'll take on a Brighton team that has actually shown some ability to score this year. These are two teams that are going to try and grind out a result. That might not be the best for DFS purposes. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Play Mo Salah ($23). He has a great matchup against a weak Fulham defense that has allowed third-most goals so far this year at 1.91 per game. Salah is also the slate's most likely anytime scorer at -230.

Multiple Liverpool attackers is a solid way to go in this plus matchup. It is unfortunate that Diogo Jota ($19) will not be playing. That leaves us with Sadio Mane ($20) who has not scored in the league in six games. This is a great matchup for him to get out of that slump and he has good scoring odds at -190, but he is a little risky in a drought like this. Curtis Jones ($10) is a good value Liverpool piece to add some exposure to their attack.

Jamie Vardy ($20) has a good chance at getting on the scoresheet on Sunday. He has nine goals in 10 league appearances this season, and Vegas has set him at -110 to score in this game. He is taking on a weak Brighton defense that is allowing 1.64 goals per game. James Maddison ($14) is one of my favorite mid-tier plays on this slate. He is starting to come into form now but remains cheap. This is a great matchup to get him in before his price starts rising.

Harry Kane ($22) and Heung-Min Son ($21) are both good plays on this slate too. They are each off to great starts this season with 18 goals and 13 assists between them. They are the only source of goals or assists for Tottenham right now, and they have a decent matchup against Palace. Palace's defense is strong at home, but Kane and Son are in such good form that they cannot be ignored. I give the edge to Kane this year with his floor being a little safer. There is no need to play both of these guys on this slate in my opinion in this matchup with other good plays in this range.

There are a whole host of value attackers on this slate, but the big problem is trying to find the ones worth playing because there are not many. I would not really call Pascal Gross ($14) a value play at this price, but he is affordable. He has a goal in two straight games, and I'm not super scared of Leicester's defense. He has shown a solid floor this year and can be a valuable member of a lineup with his peripherals.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa ($9) and Robbie Brady ($10) are worth a look for super cheap.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

Andrew Roberston ($14) is a great pay-up defender option on this slate. He gets a tremendous matchup against Fulham. Liverpool should dominate this game in their own attacking half which bodes well for Roberton's attacking upside. Robertson should be able to create a few chances in this game, and he has assist upside as well. Another added positive of playing Robertson is a likely clean sheet bonus.

Sergio Reguilon ($12) has been a very consistent fantasy performer this season. Aside from one dud game in a 0-0 draw against Chelsea, Reguilon has finished with 16+ fantasy points in his other six games. This is a strong matchup for Reguilon's attacking upside. Plus, he should be able to collect a good number of defensive stats, and a clean sheet bonus could be in the works as well. If you have an extra dollar, Tottenham's other wingback, Serge Aurier ($13), is a good play too.

Toby Alderweireld ($10) remains far too cheap on FanDuel. He has upside into the upper-teens solely with defensive stats. Palace gives up a good amount of defensive action too. Alderweireld has one of the strongest floors and the highest ceilings in this price range. For $2 cheaper, Eric Dier ($8) is another very strong value defender.

Joachim Andersen ($7) remains one of the cheapest plays on any given slate. He has a good matchup for defensive stats against Liverpool on Sunday, and can absolutely be used as a deep punt.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Hugo Lloris ($11) is a good affordable GK option. Tottenham have allowed the fewest goals in the league (9) so far this year in true Jose Mourinho style. Lloris' floor is nice for this price as he should get the win bonus along with a few saves. Tottenham can definitely keep a clean sheet here on the road too. If you just look at the table, you'll see that Palace is scoring 1.55 goals per game which is pretty solid. However, if you take a deeper look, you'll see that Palace has been shut out three times in their last five games. You will also find that they have just scored four goals against Leeds and five against West Brom. Those are two of the leakiest defenses in the league. Tottenham is in good form on both ends of the pitch, and I trust that will help Lloris have a good fantasy day.

Bernd Leno ($12) is another GK I like on Sunday. His Arsenal defense has been pretty solid this year, and now they get a home matchup against a poor Burnley defense who only have five goals this season. Leno has a solid shot at a win bonus as well as the second-largest favorite on the slate.
