Welcome back, RotoBallers! It's night #1 of the post-season with the 7 seed in each conference up for grabs. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Trae Young - PG, ATL @ MIA ($10,000 DK, $9,700 FD)

Young provides one of the highest ceilings on any slate, and thanks to his elite usage numbers, this price almost feels like a discount on a small slate like this. Young has posted three straight double-doubles, including an impressive 26-point, 20-assist game in his last game of the regular season. The Heat have a tough defense, which could drive down ownership, but Young is one of the most ball-dominant players in the league which always makes him a viable option.

Kyle Lowry - PG, MIA vs ATL ($4,000 DK, $5,600 FD)

This was the worst season Lowry has had since his early days in the NBA, but he's shown signs of life towards the end of the year, scoring 23+ DK points in six of his last eight games. The Heat have prioritized keeping him rested for the playoffs, and at this price, he could be the best value play on the slate.

Others to consider: Anthony Edwards ($9,100 DK, $9,400 FD), Malik Beasley ($4,600 DK, $5,100 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Karl-Anthony Towns - PF/C, MIN @ LAL ($8,600 DK, $9,00 FD)

KAT is assumed to be the starting Center tonight and that could mean we see a version of him more similar to last year where he played both inside and on the perimeter. With Rudy Gobert suspended, Towns should have to take on a larger role in rebounding the ball.

Taurean Prince - SF/PF, MIN @ LAL ($5,600 DK, $4,700 FD)

Prince has been a regular contributor off the bench, but with the loss of Jaden McDaniels, I expect him to fill that absence in the starting lineup. Prince

Jalen Johnson - PF, ATL @ MIA ($3,700 DK, $5,600 FD)

Johnson has really stepped his game up since the calendar turned to April – in five games this month he's averaging 26.7 DK PPG. His pricing on DraftKings sticks out like a sore thumb, and I would expect him to be widely owned tonight.

Others to consider: Jimmy Butler ($9,000 DK, $9,800 FD),  John Collins ($5,300 DK, $5,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Davis - C, LAL vs MIN ($11,200 DK, $11,600 FD)

Davis stands out as the clear top overall option on paper on this slate. He's been putting up big performances down the stretch for the Lakers, and tonight he gets possibly the softest interior defense he's seen all year with the Timberwolves' current rotation. Davis is a near guarantee for a double-double, he hasn't posted fewer than nine rebounds since March 5, and he's recorded a double-double in five of his last six games.

Luka Garza - C, MIN @ LAL  ($3,800 DK, $3,900 FD)

As I mentioned, I expect Karl Anthony-Towns to start at Center for the Wolves, but I expect Garza to be his primary backup for tonight. He's lit it up in the G-League this year and has had some solid games this year when given the opportunity. Conversely, if this game does end up a lopsided blowout, Garza should see even more minutes under the assumption the Timberwolves will ensure everyone's health for the 8-seed game.
