DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/14/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 14th, 2023. Max Kulish provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! Tonight we've got a fully loaded 10 game slate, with the national TV double-header on TNT as a headliner. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/14/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia), to keep up to date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG, OKC vs SAS ($10,300 DK, $11,100 FD)

With 50+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 6 games, Shai gets to face the team ranked dead last against opposing PGs in fantasy this year. SGA is averaging career-highs in both rebounds and assists so far in this young season, but he's still a perennial 30+ PPG game scorer. He's my favorite high-salary play tonight, and with a lot of uncertainty around a few of the other best players on the slate, his ownership could end up being massive.

Dejounte Murray - PG/SG, ATL @ DET ($8,300 DK, $8,600 FD)

Murray has quietly been on a tear to start the year, posting 40+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 6 games playing alongside Trae Young. With Young potentially missing tonight's game due to the birth of a child, Murray might become a must-play depending on Young's status. Even if Young does play, it's reasonable to expect he might not be at his best, making Murray a very interesting option for tournaments.

Update: Young has been ruled OUT tonight, start your lineups with Murray.

Dru Smith - PG/SG, MIA @ CHA ($4,400 DK, $4,100 FD)

Smith might be the next guy nobody has ever heard of that #HeatCulture turns into a legit NBA player. He had already been seeing decent minutes, but an injury to Tyler Herro has seen Smith play 28 minutes two games in a row and score 22 fantasy points in both games. Tonight he gets a plus matchup with the Hornets. He probably doesn't provide enough ceiling to break the slate, but he is a nice pivot off the more recognizable names in the Miami backcourt.

Others to consider: Skylar Mays ($6,700 DK, $6,800 FD), Tyrese Haliburton ($10,200 DK, $10,200 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Edwards - SG/SF, MIN @ GS ($9,100 DK, $9,800 FD)

Edwards appears to have taken another step forward, as he's been one of the best players in the NBA through the league's first month. He's clearly the Wolves' top option on offense now, and the production has matched the role. He's posted 47+ fantasy points in 7 of 9 games so far this year, including dropping 33/6/7 with 2 steals against the Warriors on Sunday. I think it's also worth noting that during the Warriors game, he and Draymond Green did a fair amount of jawing with each other, and I firmly believe that will keep the fire lit in his belly to go out and dominate again tonight.

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl - PF/C, NO vs DAL ($3,900 DK, $3,900 FD)

Larry Nance suffered a rib fracture during the Pelicans game against Dallas on Sunday, which enabled JRE to see 26 minutes off the bench. He posted a solid 23 fantasy points as a result. I like Robinson-Earl to continue seeing run in Nance's absence, as the former Villanova Wildcat has a similar build and game as Nance.

Robert Covington - PF/C, PHI vs IND ($3,400 DK, $3,900 FD)

Covington hasn't posted gaudy numbers this year by any means, but he should see extra run tonight in the wake of Kelly Oubre's injury, and Nic Batum missing the game for personal reasons. Between the two of them, there are 8 attempted 3's per game unaccounted for, and shooting the 3 is what Covington does on offense, whether it's falling or not. There's merit to picking any of the punt forwards on Philly tonight, but with Covington listed as the Sixers' top healthy PF, he seems like the safest choice.

Others to consider: Victor Wembanyama ($8,600 DK, $8,700 FD), Jimmy Butler ($8,600 DK, $8,100 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Joel Embiid - C, PHI vs IND ($11,500 DK, $12,300 FD)

Embiid just posted 68.25 DK points in this same exact matchup only two days ago but was overshadowed by Tyrese Maxey's 50 burger. I prefer him to Jokic tonight due to the game environment (239 O/U in this game compared to 225 for LAC/DEN).

Isaiah Stewart - PF/C, DET vs ATL  ($5,700 DK, $5,700 FD)

Even with Jalen Duren healthy, Stewart has been the Pistons' most-played big man this year, averaging 34+ minutes per game. Surprisingly, he's also shooting over 40% from 3 so far this year! Stewart is coming off his best game of the year Sunday night in Chicago, and it seems pretty clear to me the Pistons coaching staff considers him their best big in Duren's absence.

Others to consider: Kelly Olynyk ($5,100 DK, $4,500 FD)
