Barry Leonard Jr. highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 7/30/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings MLB DFS lineups.

There are a few afternoon games to get the day started, but must of the action will come during the evening hours. DraftKings has several contests, ranging from all day to just the afternoon games. The below players are assumed to be used in all day tournaments on DraftKings.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/30/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

LA Dodgers vs. Braden Shipley (RHP)

Arizona rookie Braden Shipley was lit up for six runs in just 5.1 innings during his major league debut on July 25 against Milwaukee. The Dodgers get the next chance to see if they can put up the same kind of numbers against him. Lefties are hitting .455 against him, making LA left-handers a particularly good stack option today. Adrian Gonzalez, Corey Seager, Chase Utley, and Joc Pederson all make for good options.

Cleveland Indians vs. Dillon Overton (LHP)

In the first three starts of his Major League Baseball career Overton has posted a 1-1 record with an ERA of 8.40. Both righties (.365) and lefties (.333) have hit well off the southpaw, putting several Indians in play today. Francisco Lindor has done very well against lefties this season. Mike Napoli, Carlos Santana, and Rajai Davis should also be included in your Cleveland stack today.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Josh Tomlin, CLE vs. OAK - $7,800

Tomlin has been a big piece of one of the best pitching staffs in baseball this season. He enters today with a 10-3 record, but has lost two of his last three starts. He's been plagued a bit by the long ball recently, but that shouldn't be a problem today considering the A's rank near the bottom of the league in home runs. Current Oakland hitters have a combined lifetime .180 average against Tomlin. He's in a good spot at home today, so take him as one of your pitchers.

Drew Pomeranz, BOS at LAA- $10,300

Now with one of the best offensive teams in the league, Pomeranz should be able to flourish in Boston. He pitched well in his debut, but suffered a loss by allowing two runs in six innings against the Tigers. Pomeranz doesn't allow many runs and racks up the strike outs at a good clip. Although it's a road start today, have confidence in starting Pomeranz.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Yasmani Grandal, LAD vs. ARI - $3,600

As mentioned earlier, the Dodgers as a team are in a great spot today against rookie Braden Shipley. Grandal will be hitting from the left side of the plate, a spot where he's launched 13 of his 14 total home runs. Grandal doesn't pick up a lot of hits, as evident by his batting average that's hovering near the Mendoza Line, but he's shown the ability to put up some big fantasy games. Take hte long ball success he's had against righties this season and don't be surprised to see him hit one deep off the rookie.

First Base (1B)

Edwin Encarnacion, TOR vs. BAL - $4,900

Encarnacion has a great history against opposing starter Yovani Gallardo, going 6-for-17 lifetime with three home runs and six RBI. He had been slumping a bit lately, but had two hits, including a home run last night. His history against Gallardo alone makes him a great daily play.

Second Base (2B)

Dustin Pedroia, BOS at LAA- $3,900

Pedroia has been a steady player in terms of fantasy production this season, averaging over eight points a game. He enters today with a nine-game hit streak, including a five-hit performance on July 21. With two home runs this week and a favorable matchup against a southpaw, Pedroia is a quality selection for today's lineup.

Shortstop (SS)

Jordy Mercer, PIT at MIL - $3,500

Mercer is still being overlooked on a nightly basis, but he's been red-hot in July, hitting .329. Not surprisingly, his contact rate has risen steadily in the last seven days. He's seeing the ball well and has been a great producer of fantasy points for daily leagues while keeping a low price tag. Also working in Mercer's favor today is the fact that he's 5-for-6 lifetime against opposing starter Chase Anderson.

Third Base (3B)

Adrian Beltre, TEX vs. KC- $4,100

Beltre has seen his price tag rise steadily this month thanks to a hot streak. Though he's cooled down a bit since the beginning of June, he's hitting .370 over the last week, including two hits in last night's game. Beltre has a good history against opposing starter Ian Kennedy, putting up a .400 average with one home run. He's hitting over .300 at home and is a good option today.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Giancarlo Stanton, MIA vs. STL - $4,800

Stanton still has a low batting average for the season but his price has risen back out of the value range. He had a four-game hit streak snapped last night, but it still hitting over .350 in the past week. His contact rate is up nearly 20 percent this week, meaning that he could be continuing to heat up. Stanton is hitting .278 versus southpaws this season and carries a lifetime .667 average and a home run against today's starter Jaime Garcia.

Paulo Orlando, KC at TEX- $3,800

Orlando has continued his great season and is still hitting well over .300. He's been hot lately, batting .440 over the last week. HIs contact rate int he last seven days has also been good and he enters today with a five-game hit streak. He's got two double-digit fantasy performances in his last two games and gets a favorable matchup today considering the fact that he's compiled a .353 average against southpaws.

Kevin Pillar, TOR vs. BAL - $3,200

You're going to need some cheap sleeper options today, so take a chance with Pillar, even with his 1-for-6 lifetime against opposing starter Yovani Gallardo. Pillar has two multi-hit games in the last four contests and has risen his contact rate steadily over the last week. He is hitting .311 at home this season compared to just .218 on the road. Pillar hasn't posted a goose egg in terms of fantasy points since July 22, so he's a low-risk play today.
