Recent Update

4/14:Chase Anderson continued his early-season dominance into his second start with Milwaukee in 2017. Albeit against a struggling Toronto lineup, Anderson threw seven innings of near perfection, allowing no runs off of merely three hits. Anderson now rocks a 0.69 ERA coupled with a remarkable 0.77 WHIP and has solidified himself as a strong member of the Brewers rotation. Having let up only a single run in this young season, Anderson is a must-add in deeper leagues and worth monitoring for streaming value in all formats.--Mitchell Bannon - RotoBaller

Beat Writer Chatter

  • @Haudricourt: Anderson got off to strong start but in May has covered only 18.2 IPs in four starts with 7.71 ERA.
  • @AdamMcCalvy: That's going to do it for Anderson, who hasn't cleared the fifth inning in three of his four starts in May.
  • @Haudricourt: Rizzo follows Bryant homer with a walk and that will be all for Anderson.
  • @AdamMcCalvy: Cubs have homered leading off three of Chase Anderson's five innings. Zobrist in the 1st, Bryant in the 3rd, Bryant again in the 5th.
  • @Haudricourt: Kris Bryant with his second consecutive homer off Anderson to lead off Cubs fifth.
  • @Haudricourt: #Brewers have something going in fifth as Arcia leads off with single and Arrieta commits error on Anderson’s comebacker.
  • @AdamMcCalvy: Cubs have led off two of Chase Anderson's first three innings with home runs. Zobrist in the 1st, Bryant in the 3rd. Cubs' lead up to 4-0.
  • @Haudricourt: Chase Anderson bounces back with 1-2-3 inning in second.
  • @Haudricourt: Anderson walks Heyward to load bases and it prompts a visit from pitching coach Derek Johnson.
  • @Haudricourt: Rough first inning so far for Anderson: Zobrist HR, Schwarber BB, Bryant 1B, Rizzo deep 8, Happ RBI double off wall in RF.
  • @AdamMcCalvy: Chase Anderson will bump to Sunday for the Brewers. So it's Anderson vs. Arrieta, just as expected.
  • @AdamMcCalvy: Chase Anderson for the Brewers if they manage to play. Remember, there's always a window. Preview here:
