DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 2/2/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/2/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another big slate with 12 games tonight. There aren't the marquee matchups of last night, but overall, the 12 here should provide more DFS goodness. The Florida-Missouri game starts before slate lock now, so DraftKings has decided to pull that game from the pool. At least all of the players are highlighted in red so we know who not to click on.

That leaves the slate tipping off with a bang with Arkansas heading to Georgia, Purdue in Minneapolis to take on the Gophers, Kentucky hosting Vandy, Florida State at Clemson, Notre Dame in Miami, and Xavier hosting Butler. Two hours later we have Wisconsin at Illinois, Kansas State hosting Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech hosting Georgia Tech, and NC State hosting Syracuse. We end the night with Villanova in Milwaukee to take on Marquette. With or without Missouri-Florida, this is going to be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/2/22 starting at 7 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Scotty Pippen Jr., Vanderbilt ($8,700)

On paper, this isn't a great matchup. However, Pippen has topped 40 DraftKings points in each of the last two games and racked up 48 against Kentucky in teh first meeting. None of his numbers from that game were unsustainable, though I would say that him scoring 32 points again might be a little on the high side. Still, even if he only scores 24, he'll top 40 again. The averages say that the chances Pippen hits 40 for the third straight contest are pretty good.

JD Notae, Arkansas ($7,800)

I'm not too worried about Notae's limited production against West Virginia. He picked up two fouls before the first TV timeout and was limited to 23 minutes overall. He still put up 20.5 DraftKings points and hit six of eight shots. Georgia is a less physical team than West Virginia, which should bode well for Notae's chances of staying on the court. I like him to bounce back here at a bit of a discount. After all, that was the first game under 25 DraftKings points on the entire season for Notae.

Paul Scruggs, Xavier ($7,400)

Scruggs has been very consistent since the restart, clearing 25 DraftKings points in all seven contests since then. One of those was against this same Butler team. He put up 37.25 DraftKings points in that first game after the restart in Indianapolis. None of the stats in his great all-around stat line in that one were outliers, so I would say that Scruggs has a good chance to land somewhere in the low to mid 30's again.

Au'Diese Toney, Arkansas ($5,800)

Yes, I'm bullish on Arkansas and will have plenty of exposure to them. Georgia hasn't given up under 73 points in a game since December 7. There's plenty of room for several Arkansas players to hit value tonight. Toney plays a ton of minutes and has hit double figures in scoring in four of the last five games. There's double-double potential hiding in there, which is unusual in this price range.

Rondel Walker, Oklahoma State ($4,600)

Walker entered the starting five four games ago and has piled up 78.75 DraftKings points in that time. However, he needs to watch the fouls and shoot better to keep veteran Keylan Boone on the bench. Still, Walker's energy on the defensive end is a good thing for the Cowboys. He has 12 steals in those four games, and had three before that against Baylor in jut 18 minutes. A pure shooter like Daniels has more GPP upside, but Walker is more of a sure thing.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr., Vanderbilt ($Johnny Davis ($9,900); Jaden Ivey, Purdue ($8,300); Terquavion Smith, North Carolina State ($7,600); TyTy Washington, Kentucky ($6,400); Jordan Miller, Miami ($6,100); Isaac Likekele, Oklahoma State ($5,300); Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($4,400)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,800)

Tshiebwe may not win the Naismith Award this year, but he should for DFS purposes. He is averaging 43.1 DraftKings points per game this year. He has at least a dozen rebounds in every game since the calendar flipped to January. He has eight games over 50 DraftKings points in 21 contests this year, including 51.25 against Vanderbilt in 34 minutes in the first meeting. His numbers were kind of pedestrian in that game as far as rebounds go, so I could see him at least getting close to that mark again.

Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($8,600)

Williams is on an absolute tear right now. He has at least 26 DraftKings points in every game since the restart. He has been over 30 in all but one of those. Williams has cleared 40 in three straight. Do you really think Georgia is going to hold down this wild hog? Yeah, I don't either. An argument can be made that Williams will have the best point-per-dollar average on the entire slate.

Keve Aluma, Virginia Tech ($6,600)

Aluma had a foul-riddled disaster against Florida State this week. That is exactly what I wanted to see. This is a great matchup against Georgia Tech and Aluma is going to be low owned after that mess against the Seminoles. Also, that helped to drive the price down. Aluma hasn't been priced this low since sometime last year. I'm buying heavy on Aluma at a massive discount in a good matchup.

Eric Dixon, Villanova ($5,600)

Dixon has been playing well of late. Only Georgetown and DePaul have held him under 20 DraftKings points since the Wildcats ran into the buzzsaw that was Baylor on December 12. His 21.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Marquette isn't much to write home about, but it is worth noting that the Eagles did a great job of keeping him off the glass. I'm not sure that happens again.

Khalid Moore, Georgia Tech ($4,400)

The Yellow Jackets are going to have a hard time keeping Moore out of the lineup. He has been aggressive on both ends of the court of late, posting 19 points against Miami and netting five steals against Florida State. I don't make it a point to go after a team like Virginia Tech, but when Moore is this cheap playing 30 minutes a game and doesn't rely on points for value, he's a solid value punt.

Also consider: Justin Lewis, Marquette ($8,900); Trevion Williams, Purdue ($7,700); Jamison Battle, Minnesota ($7,300); Cole Swider, Syracuse ($6,400); Keion Brooks, Kentucky ($5,300); Bryce Golden, Butler ($4,500)
