DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (12/27/22)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Tuesday (12/27/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

Now bowl season really picks up! We have at least three college football games every day this week! This is the last gasp of the 2022 season. You can have the 15 telecasts of the National Championship. I'll take college football all day for a week! All four games are staggered, so any time you turn on ESPN, you're watching college football. It's just like a Saturday, only Tuesday.

We kick off in Montgomery, Alabama for the Camelia Bowl between Georgia Southern and Buffalo. Next up is the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl from Dallas between Memphis and Utah State. We kick off the evening in Birmingham for the TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl between Coastal Carolina and East Carolina. We end out in Phoenix with Wisconsin and Oklahoma State facing off in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/27/22 locking at noon eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Kyle Vantrease, Georgia Southern ($7,500)

There didn't seem to be any bad blood between Vantrease and Buffalo when he entered the portal, so this isn't really a revenge game. However, it would give Vantrease some sort of satisfaction to go off on his former team. Vantrease did throw a rather high 15 interceptions this season, but he has only thrown four since Week 7. We all know that volume is king in DFS and Vantrease only threw less than 38 passes in a game once all season. He is going to get plenty of chances to get back at his former team.

Cole Snyder, Buffalo ($5,200)

No, I'm not being lazy. This game has the highest implied total on the slate and both Wisconsin and Oklahoma State are down multi-year starters at quarterback. I don't mind a dart throw with whoever starts for either team in a GPP, but for cash, Snyder is way too cheap. Does he throw too many interceptions? Yes, but just about every college quarterback does. Again, it comes down to volume. Snyder threw more than 30 passes in all but three games this year. I also think Buffalo is going to have to throw to keep up with their former quarterback. This is a great situation for a guy priced this low.

Also consider: Grayson McCall, Coastal Carolina ($7,900); Cooper Legas, Utah State ($6,300); Myles Burkett/Deacon Hill, Wisconsin ($4,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Braelon Allen, Wisconsin ($6,900)

The Badgers are going to have a very inexperienced quarterback no matter who is taking snaps, so I expect them to ride Allen and the other backs as much as they can. Allen missed the last game of the regular season due to a leg injury, but he has been practicing fully with the team, so he should be as healthy as any other back in bowl season. He might not have the slate-breaking potential of Mitchell, but he's facing a much worse run defense.

Jalen White, Georgia Southern ($5,100)

The Georgia Southern run game has been a bit of a mess lately, but White still gets the most work in the running game. Buffalo gave up more than five yards per carry on the season and gave up 23 rushing touchdowns. There will be room to run on the Bulls. At the very least, White should be the guy that gets the bulk of the carries.

Also consider: Keaton Mitchell, East Carolina ($7,700); Asa Martin, Memphis ($6,100); Chez Mellusi, Wisconsin ($5,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Sam Pinckney, Coastal Carolina ($6,600)

It may have taken the entire season, but Pinckney finally stood out as the top option in the passing game in the Fun Belt Championship against Troy. This is a game where Coastal may be required to throw the ball more than they are comfortable with once again. Pinckney hauled in 11 passes in the Fun Belt Championship for 81 yards and a score. We again should get double digits just on receptions alone.

Khaleb Hood, Georgia Southern ($5,900)

For a team that throws as much as the Eagles do, you know they have to have at least one fantasy-relevant receiver. Hood has double-digit fantasy points in every game but the Ball State game in Week 4. Hood is probably the safest option on the entire slate, and he finished off the season with 23.3 DraftKings points against Appalachian State. He has plenty of upside as well.

Justin Marshall, Buffalo ($5,500)

The Buffalo passing game had some aches and pains after Vantrease entered the portal, but they still have the good receivers that they had last year. They had some inconsistencies with Snyder at quarterback, but the main difference was that Snyder often preferred Marshall to Williams. Both are good plays against Georgia Southern in a game that might be higher-scoring than Buffalo would like.

Also consider: Brian Cobbs, Utah State ($6,800); Javon Ivory, Memphis ($6,300); Quian Williams, Buffalo ($5,000); Jacob Jenkins, Coastal Carolina ($3,800)
