Welcome back to the DFS Patrol. In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/5/16. These streamers will range from high-priced / high-ownership options to low-priced / low-ownership options, and will be sleepers and value picks for your cash games and GPPs on DraftKings and FanDuel, and also for seasonal leagues with daily lineups.

Yesterday we connected on buying Clayton Kershaw and fading Zack Greinke, while Raisel Iglesias provided some nice value for cheap. Today there is plenty of aces on the board again, including Dallas Keuchel, David Price, and Jon Lester.

Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

David Price (BOS) @ CLE

FanDuel - $12,300 / DraftKings - $11,000

Shocker that the system approves of the highest priced pitcher on the board. His 9+ K/9 and sub-2 BB/9 rates give him a safe floor, and the cold weather combined with a Michael Brantley-less lineup make him the best play of the day.

Corey Kluber (CLE) vs BOS

FanDuel - $9,700 / DraftKings - $10,300

Tough matchup aside, the system loves Corey Kluber. Don't let the 9-13 record fool you, Kluber was an ace in 2015. The Red Sox lineup is no cake walk, which is why I will be only testing Kluber in tourney formats.

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) @ KC

FanDuel - $9,900 / DraftKings - $9,300

The best plan of action is to avoid a showdown. That's what Thor provides in his matchup versus Chris Young. The Royals don't strike out often, but the sub $10K price tag makes Syndergaard an elite play.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Jose Quintana (CHW) @ OAK

FanDuel - $8,300 / DraftKings - $8,400

Nothing sexy here. Quintana isn't going to pile up the strikeouts but he's a safe bet for six innings while the offense should be able to pile it on Chris Bassitt. He's a solid SP2 in DFS formats.

Jimmy Nelson (MIL) vs SFG

FanDuel - $7,200 / DraftKings - $7,000

A lot of people will be fading Nelson after the Giants shellacking yesterday, not accounting for the fact it was Wily Peralta. Nelson has shown potential in the past and has a devastating curve to keep hitters off track. He's a tourney play.

Aaron Sanchez (TOR) @ TB

FanDuel - $6,700 / DraftKings - $6,400

Sanchez carried a lot of hype last year and it only grew as he earned a starting rotation spot in Spring Training. Sanchez flashes a high K potential, although it's unlikely he eclipses six innings. It's a risky proposition for one-pitcher formats, but DraftKings players should have Sanchez in lineups today.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Masahiro Tanaka (NYY) vs HOU

FanDuel - $9,100 / DraftKings - $10,500

I was fading Tanaka yesterday so there's no reason to stop now. Tanaka was shaky with his location in Spring Training and faces an Astros lineup that can pile it on quick.

Hisashi Iwakuma (SEA) @ TEX

FanDuel - $8,900 / DraftKings - $8,200

Hard to trust Iwakuma given the shoulder concerns and the Rangers are a formidable offense. At this price range you're better off investing in Quintana or Michael Wacha.
