In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 4/9/16. Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) @ SF

FanDuel - $13,000 / DraftKings - $14,200

The system loves Kershaw for good reason. He owns a 1.54 ERA versus the Giants along with a 9.62 K/9 rate. The downsides are the heavy price tag and facing Bumgarner in the bay, but that should lower ownership for the best pitcher in baseball.

Madison Bumgarner (SF) vs LA

FanDuel - $11,200 / DraftKings - $11,600

The system favors the opponents offense and park more than the opposing pitcher, and investing funds against Kershaw is dangerous. He has pitched well in his career versus the Dodgers, but this is a fade for me.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Carlos Martinez (STL) @ ATL

FanDuel - $8,100 / DraftKings - $9,100

Martinez was flashing 100 MPH in the Spring and averaged over a strikeout per inning in 2015. He's thrown 10.2 scoreless innings in his career versus Atlanta and the Braves have looked lifeless to this point. A fantastic deal in FanDuel.

Raisel Iglesias (CIN) vs PIT

FanDuel - $8,700 / DraftKings - $9,200

Everyone's favorite sleeper in Spring Training was excellent in his debut (6 IP, 7 K) and the Reds typically show up in Gerrit Cole outings. Good value on today's slate.

Vince Velasquez (PHI) @ NYM

FanDuel - $7,700 / DraftKings - $6,200

Another fantasy sleeper, Velasquez cracked the rotation after a strong Spring. He was a key piece in the Carlos Gomez deal and has a high K ceiling versus the worst starter (Bartolo Colon) in the Mets rotation. I'm calling it; the Phillies pick up their first win today.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Zack Greinke (ARI) vs CHI

FanDuel - $9,900 / DraftKings - $10,300

Greinke is due for a rebound after his debut (4 IP, 7 ER) but it's not coming today. Even sans-Schwarber, this is an intimidating lineup to invest $10,000 against. Better pitchers on the board.

Gerrit Cole (PIT) @ CIN

FanDuel - $8,900 / DraftKings - $9,100

The price is enticing, but Cole has an 0-4 record with a 5.23 ERA in his career versus Cincinnati including a 5.95 ERA last year. This has trap written all over.
