Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

Hot Dog SZN is officially back in action as we get ready for Wednesday Night NASCAR racing at Martinsville! The paperclip is one of my favorite short tracks in all of NASCAR, and the trophy being a grandfather clock adds even more uniqueness to the event. Unfortunately, there won't be anyone in the stands to chow down on some delicious hot dogs, but you can bet your bottom dollar that this guy will be dogging out with all the condiments during this race.

The last race at Martinsville was incredible for Martin Truex Jr. Martin led more than 90 percent of the race (464 laps) back in October of 2019, which is one hell of a statement. You can go ahead and bank on reading more about him below (I mean, his name is Martin so it's only fitting that he does well in his own "Ville").

For this race, the Top 12 drivers from Atlanta were entered into a drawing for position. Ryan Blaney will lead the pack on Wednesday, and he will have his work cut out for him with proven leaders not far behind him. No matter how things shake out, it's awesome to be back to racing on a Wednesday, and a perfect opportunity to secure the bag again in NASCAR DFS and sports betting!

Joey Logano #22

(DraftKings $9,900 | FanDuel $12,000 | DK SportsBook +900 )

Logano starting in P3 is attractive this week based on what we know he can do at Martinsville. Since 2016, Joey has only finished three out of eight races outside of the Top 10. Logano hasn't been in victory lane since Phoenix, and this Wednesday night he will be in prime position to lead the pack, and get you some solid fantasy production by leading laps early.

Ty Dillon #13

(DraftKings $6,200 | FanDuel $5,000 | DK SportsBook +50000)

Geico Dillon is a quiet chalk play this week with a low price starting in P30. Dillon won't be winning this race (unless a miracle happens), but he's a guy you can trust to bring you positive place differential at The Paperclip. In his career, Dillon has only finished one race at this track behind his starting position.

Ryan Newman #6

(DraftKings $6,800 | FanDuel $7,000 | DK SportsBook +8000 )

The Rocket Man himself is making his season debut as one of my DFS picks, and there couldn't be a better race for him to step on the scene at. Newman is starting in P16, and although some may say there are better options in his price range, I personally trust that we will see one of his best performances of the season so far on Wednesday. Newman finished his last race at this track in P10, and with him starting closer to that area, I am confident we can see him repeat.

Christopher Bell #95

(DraftKings $8,200 | FanDuel $7,000 | DK SportsBook +12500 )

Bell shocked me with his finish at Bristol a couple of weeks ago, and with that type of precision, I want to double down on the Levine Family Racing rookie. Bell will start in P32 which makes his car a rocket compared to the other guys he'll be beside when the green flag waves. Look for Bell to gain position quickly, and enjoy the place differential points.

Cole Custer #41

(DraftKings $5,900 | FanDuel $6,000 | DK SportsBook +15,000 )

I can only hope that Custer eats a lot of Hot Dogs to fuel himself for success, because his price is too good to pass up. Custard is another driver who provides fantastic value starting in P27. I expect a slow start for Custer, but ultimately a decent finish somewhere between P20 and P15.

Martin Truex Jr. #19

(DraftKings $10,300 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +550 )

When you go to Martinsville, you have to think of the guy whose name is literally Martin. Truex was an unstoppable force at this track last October, and If he makes his way to the front of the pack, It may be over for everyone. Martin is easily my favorite to win this race on Wednesday night, and he is in the perfect position to strike.

Bubba Wallace #43

(DraftKings $7,800 | FanDuel $5,000 | DK SportsBook +30,000)

Wallace is one of the "Mid-Tier" drivers that really stood out to me when making my picks, and if my observations are correct, we could be in for one incredible show from the Richard Petty Motorsports driver. In his four career races at this track, Wallace has constantly improved finishing better and better with every race. This tells me that he is understanding this track at a rapid rate, and if the trend continues, we could see a Top 10 for Bubba Wednesday night. (Wallace has been doing some incredible work inside, and outside of the sport with social justice, and I just have to say how proud I am to see this sport evolving with Wallace as the main voice bringing about change).

Kyle Busch #18

(DraftKings $9,500 | FanDuel $13,500 | DK SportsBook +550 )

You guys know I rarely write about Busch because you're going to play him regardless most weeks, but I felt it was important to list him at Martinsville. Busch has been a Top 5 machine at this track up until last October, but there's nothing making me think he won't be back inside it when the checkered flag waves Wednesday night. If you're into the supernatural world, you may find it interesting that the last time he started P7 at this track he won the race (just throwing that out there in case some of you reading this are wizards).
