BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 47% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: While the Dolphins definitely don't have the best receiving corps of the NFL, the truth is that Tua Tagovailo is making the most of what he can work with on a weekly basis. Even then, though, the second-year quarterback is rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo leagues while he keeps finishing as a QB2 (at his floor) weekly and that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.
Tua is averaging 17.4 FPPG in the 10 games he's started and finished this year. He's been a top-12 play (QB1) in three of the last four games he's played, and he did enough to enter the QB2 realm in the only week of the last month in which he failed to meet the QB1-criteria. Tua is coming off a 14.7 FP game against the Jets this past weekend in which he threw 2 INTs for the first time in a month and half. Even then, he was good to make up for it with 2 TDs, 196 yards, and an extra 19 yards on the ground thanks to his 7 carries on the day.
Tua hasn't scored a rushing touchdown in four consecutive games, but he did so three times prior to that, finding rushing-pay dirt in Weeks 1, 8, and 10. That's Tua's upside. I'd go the distance and encourage deep-1QB league fantasy GMs to roster Tua and start him confidently ROS. He's a bona fide top-12 player weekly, so I'd fear nothing. Of course, if you're part of a deeper-than-14-teams league or play in any 2QB/SuperFlex format, you better be checking the WW because Tua can truly be your best weapon through the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.
