EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (3/13/21) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 3/13/21. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We had another full week of UCL action and a midweek EPL game on Wednesday this week. Matchday 28 in the English Premier League kicked off Friday with a nice single-game slate, and now we have four more games Saturday. Three of those four games will be on the main slate on FanDuel, and I have another full breakdown for you all. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Saturday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts!

In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/13/21 for the slate that locks at 10:00 am ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Crystal Palace vs West Brom

Our first game on the main slate on Saturday morning is not going to be a popular game among many soccer fans. We have Crystal Palace (+115) hosting a lowly West Brom team. Palace sit comfortably eight points above the relegation zone, but times are getting desperate for West Brom if they want to save their season. They have fallen a whole eight points behind Fulham and Brighton now and will require a miracle finish to their season to save in the PL. Crystal Palace are definitely the better club here and will have the edge at home. Neither side is scoring many goals this year hence the goal total over/under of 2.0.

Everton vs Burnley

Burnley have done well in the second part of this season to climb four points free of the relegation zone. They travel to take on Everton (-120) Saturday in what is an important game for the Evertonians in their battle for a spot in a European competition next season. Everton are the better team, in better form, and playing at home so they will have the advantage here in this game and could be a popular DFS target on Saturday. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

Fulham vs Manchester City

Manchester City (-290) ran through Southampton Wednesday 5-2, and now they have a quick turnaround away against Fulham. City are closing in on another EPL title, and Fulham are right in the middle of a relegation battle. They currently sit even with Brighton on points, but Brighton have a game in hand. Fulham will need to keep getting good results if they want to play in the Premier League next year, but doing that against the table toppers will be difficult. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Kevin de Bruyne ($23) had a fantastic game in Manchester City's 5-2 win against Southampton. This weekend, City has another nice matchup against Fulham. It's well documented that KDB has one of the safest floors in all of DFS soccer right now, and he also has goal upside as evidenced with his two goals against Southampton. He is +130 to score in this one against Fulham.

Fulham's defense has been much better than their record might reflect. They give up 1.29 goals per game at home, and they do not allow many shots on goal or chances created. I would recommend limiting your exposure to Manchester City's attackers to one or two. We will see who Pep Guardiola decides to start on Saturday, but Phil Foden ($17) and Ilkay Gundogan ($15) should both be considered good secondary options.

Burnley's home defense isn't anything to target, however, they are giving up 1.54 goals per game away from Turf Moor. Everton are still in the mix for a spot in European football next year, so they will be hungry for three points at home here. Richarlison ($21) did not continue his goal streak on Monday against Chelsea, but he is still in good form with four goals in five games. He is a nice place to start your lineup on this slate. James Rodriguez's ($17) status is still being kept under lock and key, but assuming he cannot start again, Gylfi Sigurdsson ($15) will get another start. Burnley allow the second-most chances created which is right up Gylfi's alley.

It is Crystal Palace's chance to take on an all-time bad West Brom defense. They are allowing 2.0 goals per game now and Palace will be able to take advantage of that at home. The problem here is figuring out CP's attack. Wilfried Zaha ($18) is returning from injury and only played 45 minutes last weekend. He has the best anytime scoring odds among starters in this game at +200, but there is a definite sub risk with him. Christian Benteke ($15) is in the best form among their attackers with two goals in four games. He has had some decent floor games too and is not expensive. Luka Milivojevic ($9) is the value play here. He is not having a good season, but this is too good of a matchup to not mention him as a value play.

Matheus Pereira ($15) is the best one-off play on one of the underdogs that is worth playing on this slate.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

The defender at the top of my player pool on this slate for raw points is Lucas Digne ($14). He has great attacking upside in most matchups, but he should be able to attack a ton with Burnley's defensive style of play. Nine of Digne's 19 EPL appearances this season have been 18+ point games, and he has a really strong chance at making that 10 on Saturday. Digne also collects a good amount of clearances which Burnley force at the fourth-highest rate in the league.

Unsurprisingly, Manchester City force the most combined defensive action on the slate. Joachim Andersen ($13) has had quite the climb to fantasy relevance after being minimum price at one point this season. He's a strong play in this game environment against City where he can rack up all different defensive stats at a great rate. Tosin Adarabioyo ($11) is a good mid-tier play for the same reasons, and Kenny Tete ($8) can provide some value here.

Oleksandr Zinchenko ($10) is yet again another solid cheap defender play that has some attacking upside. He has five straight 12+ point games in the EPL, and he has a good chance at continuing that streak on this slate especially with a possible clean sheet bonus.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Fulham struggle to score this year with only 0.79 goals per game in league. They take on a league-best Manchester City defense who are allowing only 0.72 goals per game. That does not bode well for Fulham scoring in this game, and Ederson ($14) is already a near-lock for a win bonus on this slate. He's a good play if you have the money to get him.

Alphonse Areola ($7) should get absolutely peppered with shots in this game giving him a nice floor with save points as the cheapest GK on the slate. He likely won't get either bonus on this slate against Manchester City, however, his floor with saves and a cheap price tag are good reasons to play him if you don't overexpose yourself to the City attack.

Jordan Pickford ($12) is another decent GK play here. Burnley have not been great in front of the net all season, and they have only eight goals in 13 away games this season. Everton's defense is not very good - even at home - but they need this win and should be ready to play on Saturday. Pickford is always a risky play, but there is upside here if they keep a shutout.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
